The show started at 6 and we got there around 5:30 and some band was playing (To be honest I have no clue who any of the performers were besides Megan & Liz and Memphis High..) and I saw Megan walk across the back. My grandmother called her over to me and I was like freaking out.. I was literally shaking. I introduce myself and she’s like “I totally know who you are!” and hugged me. We talked for a few minutes, but she had to go get ready for the show, and had to go. She said we’d talk again after. Then we were just standing around. I noticed their mom setting up the merch table, so my grandmother went over and bought me a jacket… even got discount for being a huge Megan and Liz fan.. cool, eh? So later on, another band performed and during Mary (their mom) came over and was like “I’m their mom.” I replied, “I know, I saw you in their fall fun day video!” She laughed and said “I don’t know why they recorded me sweeping off that pumpkin.. I looked up and they were just back their giggling.” She gave me a Megan & Liz bracelet, we had a conversation and after, she says, “Wanna go in the back and meet them?” I accepted and got SO nervous. I had already met Megan, so I was seeing Liz for the first time. I walked through the doors into the back and Liz automatically hugs me. I tell her my Twitter/Tumblr name and she knew who I was too! That definitely made my night. She called Megan over and we all three talked. I was holding the jacket I bought and they noticed… I stupidly replied, “I have two of your shirts at home. I was going to wear them but they’re dirty.” WHY DID I TELL THEM THEY WERE DIRTY?! I embarrassed myself so badly hahaha. Then I went back out and listened to the other opening acts. When it was time for the twins to perform, Liz looked at me while walking up on stage and waved at me :’) They opened with World’s Gunna End, then a new song which I cannot remember the name of, Switch Hearts, Are You Happy Now and closed with Happy Never After. Immediately, we went over to their table to meet them. By then, there was a huge line formed of people to meet them. I had a bag of kit kats to give them and the girl who talked to them right before me did too.. I was kind of upset about that, but oh well. When I made my way up to them again, I said “Someone kind of stole my idea..” and handed Liz the bag. She goes “You’re the one who tweeted me you had us a ton of kit kats, right?” I was like “Yes!” She remembered me dsfkjsdhflsdhfksd. Liz: “What are you trying to do to us? I’m going to go into a sugar coma! Megan: I’m gunna have a ton of cavities.. We talked again and I got a picture, autograph and all that good stuff. As I started walking away, Liz tapped me on the shoulder and as I turned around, she pulled me into a hug. She goes “You’re one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met.” All I could say is “I love you.” After, I started to walk off again and Megan got my attention and wanted a hug too! So, I hugged and she told me she loved me. When I told her I love her too, she was like “Awwwh!!” Then I left. I didn’t even stay for the last opening act or even Action Item! Definitely the BEST night of my life.

My name is Brianna, my sister’s name is Alexis. I found Megan and Liz by accident in 2008 when i was at my friends house. We were looking up covers of Love Story by Taylor Swift and their video came up. Something about their video stuck with me and i felt like i needed to show my sister when I got home. When I showed her we both agreed that they were amazing. What was great was that they were twins like us! That started this whole experience. On November 20th, we got to meet them at their New Jersey concert. It was probably one of the best nights of my life. They saw my feel better Liz poster during the concert and they signed it when we met them. They were SO nice. Reality didn’t set in that we actually met them until the day after. We will NEVER forget that night. Macers all the way <3

It was honestly the best day/night of my life. I will never forget it, ever.

It started off at 11:30, when we left, and 5 minutes in, realized we forgot the tickets hahahha. So we drove back home got the tickets, and we were on our way. Finally, at 1:40 or so, we got to the venue. We had to wait outside until 4:00 for doors to open, so i chilled outside and made some new friends! Then, when we were waiting outside, Megan and Liz came out. They came to the gate and first hugged me. (They give the best hugs ever by the way) I called Liz over and gave her my bag of gifts for her/ She couldnt talk, but she mouthed and made hand motions that basically said “is this for me?” i was like yes! and all she could mouth was :0 and omg thank you so so much and she hugged me and didnt let go for like 10 seconds and it was so amazing. Liz saw i got her a stay positive bracelet and she pulled it out and mouthed :0 OMG and put it on and wore it during the show! Liz couldnt stop mouthing thank you so much, and seriously thank you nd i was like avkcbskfj. She was so adorable as a mute <3 fjdajfksn so anyway then I gave Megan her bag and she hugged me and we got pictures and they wentback in. i was dead haha. i was shaking and jumping and smiling like an idiot haha. So then they let us in and i got a megan and liz shirt and poster and went with my two friends that i met. We sat through at least 6 bands until megan and liz. my phone kept almost dying so my dad had to go back and charge it in the car for me about 3 times hahaa. Finally Megan and Liz came on. they were flawless.as usual. liz did so good for barely having a voice. asjdhasjdashj so good. so then after they were over we went outside and waited for them to come out. They came out and first they signed my poster, and then opened some gifts and talked and took pictures with a bunch of other fans. I waited in line for a good hour and my feet were killing me, but it was so worth it. I walked up and i was like “hi again!” and they were like “hi again” and liz hugged me for a long time again and then megan hugged me. Then i showed them a herp derp picture my dad took of them and they were like omg 5 STAR HERPDERP haahhah and then i told them about my 13 page letter and their jaws dropped and they were like omg and youre so sweet and i cannot wait to read it, and so we took a picture and then i left.

It was the most perfect day ever. the best day ever. I never in a million years thought this would even happen, and it did. I miss them so so much already icannot even begin to describe, im even sitting here typing this and bawling my eyes out because i miss them so much.

Megan and Liz, thank you for being you and for giving me the best day ever. I love you.

This day started amazing. We got to MSU at 5:30, the show didnt start till 7:30 but we wanted to be front. Doors finally opened but then we waited in another lobby to go to our seat. We finally got in and we were second row!!! Freaking amazing by this time Madelyn was with me and we were fangirling. While waiting we saw Rebecca and said hello. We waited, then Megan and Liz came out!!! Omg they were soo close. They opened with a little bit of Worlds Gunna End, Then How To Love!! Those were amazing. Next Up was Goodbye with Hello. I love that Liz was straight up like this is kind of a mean song and Megan was like No its not but they finally both agreed it was a mean song. Then an unreleased Switch Hearts, and OMG That song is completely amazing. Next Up was Stereo Hearts, Tonight Tonight/I Like It Like that mix. Then Maybe Possibly and before they started singing someone was like i love you and a dude was like I love you more omg it was hilarious, Liz was like ‘oh hey’ hehe. Lastly was Happy Never After and Madelyn totally called it! They were done which was saddening! But then we headed back to meet them.

OMG that was the best like 15 minutes of my life!!!! First off they knew who me and Madelyn were before us even tellin them!!! Then they didn’t believe we had gifts for them, Liz was like that bag better be for you cause i know it’s not for me hehe! Megan and Liz opened Madelyn’s first. They loved the bracelets and then they saw the candy and were like you’re trying to make us fat! Liz- Next time you see us were gonna be this big hehe. Then the twins opened my gift!!! I was like there’s 50 some pages in there and Liz almost started crying! i was like no crying is bad don’t cry! Then she was like these pages look hand made i was like ya i decorated them all and Maddie, Kaitlyn and me hand wrote them, which again almost made her cry! then i got hugs and thank yous from them :). So we talked and Liz told us that her pizza phone case had pretty much died :(. That was a sad moment. We talked about some other stuff the people started getting mad at us so we asked them to sign our twist magazines and we took pictures and said goodbye but that really wasn’t goodbye. After that i got a Megan and Liz shirt. Madelyn wanted to get her ipod case signed and i wanted to get my shirt signed so we went back in line to see the twins!! We got our stuff signed. OH and did you know Megan and Liz double as tables? Also Liz asked me how i spelled my name and then Megan told her correctly, and asked me if it was right i said yes and she’s like- Liz you should let me handle the spelling lol. Well then i told Liz about this herp derp pic i took of her,and Megan was like someone needs to start a Megan and Liz Herp Derp Twitter (or tumblr forgot which).Then i decided to show her the picture and man Liz’s face got like tomato red!! and she started laughing and Megan was like i wanna see and they both started laughing!!! We had to then said goodbye we gave each other hug and they said hope to see you again soon!! Man this is was an amazing night and i didn’t stop smiling! I love Megan and Liz To Pluto and Back. Also it was amazing meeting Madelyn!!!!

Hi, my name’s Taylor. I found Megan & Liz about 3 years ago. Best discovery of my life! See, I used to be depressed. I was being pressured all the time to be perfect. Be the basketball star. Be the softball star. Get the best grades. Don’t mess up like your brother did. Home life was messed up.. No one knows this but.. Suicide was a constant thought in my head. I’m ashamed that I actually thought about doing it.

But then i found Megan & Liz. They saved my life. They became my happiness. Seeing them sing and do what they love is, gosh, its amazing. I’m so proud of how far they’ve come. They’re the most talented, beautiful, down to earth, funny girls ever. I’m still here, on earth, because of them. Without them, I would’ve never felt what it was to be truly happy. I’m happy to say suicide hasn’t even been a thought in my head since i found them. I honestly owe them my life. I love them more than anything and always will<3 MACER FO’ LIFE. Swaaaaaaag.

P.S. If anyone reads this, who feel like they have nothing to live for, I promise you it does get better. I’m a prime example of it. Just find something you love more than anything, something that gives you happiness and stick with it. After, it just seems like everything falls into place. Trust me.
